Memorial tribute to Chris O'Brien Lifehouse volunteer Dora Eisenberg

I produced this video to pay homage to Dora Eisenberg, who began her involvement with Chris O'Brien Lifehouse at its opening in 2013 and volunteered into her late 90s. Born in 1915 in a small village in Poland, Dora survived her family who perished in the Holocaust. She lived through the major events of the 20th century, including two World Wars and the 1948 Arab-Israeli War, before emigrating to Australia in 1956 where she dedicated herself to volunteer work at organisations like Royal Prince Alfred Hospital, Matthew Talbot Hostel, Joseph Varga School, the Smith Family, and Chris O'Brien Lifehouse. In crafting this video, I blended historical photographs, a previously recorded interview, and Dora's own stories with thoughtful music selection, aiming to respectfully showcase her remarkable resilience and enduring impact on the community.
