In 2021, I arranged for Greg Sam, CEO of the Royal Flying Doctor Service (South Eastern Section), to feature on the Betoota Advocate podcast. This was a great opportunity to get the Flying Doctors’ plight into the ears of a younger demographic.

During the podcast, Greg spoke to the editors about how the RFDS continues to face significant challenges in its 92-year history, especially against the backdrop of a global pandemic. He highlighted how frontline staff have continued flying to remote and rural locations, retrieving patients in emergencies, and providing essential primary, mental, and dental health services to those who need them most.
